Why Tulsa Will Win
Tulsa is better than it showed against Michigan State – it just so happened to go up against one of the nation’s best defenses. It has a decent offense that should be able to throw a whole lot better against a defense that won’t camp out in the backfield.
The Golden Hurricane were able to stop the Michigan State offense cold – at least the running game – not allowing a thing from the running backs, and giving up fewer than three yards per carry. San Jose State won’t be able to run a lick.
Why San Jose State Will Win
Is there a shot at getting into the backfield like Michigan State did? Not like that, but it showed in the win over Northern Colorado that it could get behind the line – it has to turn it loose.
Josh Love was able to get hot right away, throwing for 224 yards and two scores by spreading the ball around well. The Spartans won’t be able to run, but they should be able to dink and dunk enough to get the offense moving.

What’s Going To Happen
San Jose State will come up with just enough defense to keep this from getting out of hand, but the Tulsa offense is about to look and play far, far better now that it’s not dealing with the Michigan State D. There will be more than -74 rushing yards from the Golden Hurricane this week.
