Tullichewan police incident: Injured man taken to hospital for treatment

A man has been arrested after another man was found injured in Tullichewan.

Police were called to the area around 4.15pm this afternoon with the ambulance service also attending.

A man who was injured was conveyed to hospital where he is receiving treatment. Another man has been arrested however police are continuing their enquiries into the matter.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Lennox Herald this evening: “We were made aware of an injured man in the area of Tullichewan Drive in Alexandria shortly after 4.15pm.

“The man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

“Another man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
