Tulisa announces music comeback with new song 'Daddy' and very provocative snaps

Singer Tulisa Contostavlos has announced that she is returning to the music scene after a series of personal and legal struggles.

The former N-Dubz singer, 30, announced that she would be releasing a new single, named 'Daddy', on Friday 5 April.

After signing a contract with old label Xploded Music, Tulisa posted a clip teasing her new single on her social media, giving fans a glimpse of what was to come.

In the short snippet, a pink-haired Tulisa could be seen swinging around a pole in a tight black crop top, to the lyrics: 'Call you Daddy'.

In promo shots, the former X Factor judge looked the spitting image of 25-year-old Ariana Grande as she sported  blue metallic PVC mini-skirt and a matching cropped jacket, teaming her look with a pair of thigh high boots.

The Female Boss opted for a sultry make-up look, with a smoky eye and a heavy sweep of bronzer on each cheek to emphasise her striking bone structure.

As she posed for the image, flirty Tulisa smothered her lips in lipgloss, while smoldering at the camera.

Her music comeback comes as she has been off the radar for a while, fighting for royalties off Britney Spears and Will.i.am for her writing credit on the hit, Scream & Shout.

Contostavlos, 26, who saw a trial involving drugs allegations collapse on Monday, is now set to discover her fate regarding an alleged incident at the V-Festival in Essex in August last year. Her career also took a hit after falling victim to a scam by journalist Mazher Mahmood, who encouraged her to supply a film producer Class A drugs.

The 2016 trial found Mahmood, known as the 'Fake Sheikh', guilty of tampering with evidence, and sentenced to 15 months in jail.

While the TV star has always vehemently denied charges against her, and branded the incident a "horrific and disgusting entrapment," she notably dropped off the showbiz scene after it took place.

As Mahmood was found guilty, Tulisa released a cover of 90s hit Sweet Like Chocolate – but it failed to chart.
