Tulane CB Donnie Lewis Jr. taking pre-draft visit with Packers

Tulane cornerback Donnie Lewis Jr. is taking a pre-draft visit with the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, according to Josh Norris of Rotoworld.

Lewis (6-0, 195) intercepted eight passes and broke up 49 more over 46 career games at Tulane.

Lewis finished third in the nation last year with 17 pass breakups. He broke up at least one pass in 10 of 13 games in 2018 and also added three interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown.

Tulane lined him up at cornerback, in the slot and at safety, giving him the kind of versatility the Packers might desire in a defensive back.

Lewis, who has visited at least six other teams, participated in the East-West Shrine game but was injured during the event, suffering a Jones fracture in his foot.
