Holiday giant TUI has announced it will resume its long-haul programme to the Caribbean from November, flying keen Brits out to Cuba, St Lucia and Antigua.
All three nations are currently on the UK’s quarantine-free list, meaning returning travellers won’t need to self-isolate for two weeks upon return.
However, there are some restrictions for incoming passengers for each of these destinations. Those flying to Cuba can only fly into select regions of the country: Cayo Coco, Cayo Cruz or Cayo Guillermo (served by Jardines del Rey airport); Cayo Santa Maria (flying into Santa Clara airport); or Cayo Largo del Sur and Varadero, the latter from October 15.
Those flying to Antigua will need to provide a negative coronavirus test on arrival and those looking to head to St Lucia will need to do the same.
The first flights out will be from Manchester to Varadero in Cuba on November 1, followed by flights to St Lucia from London Gatwick on November 1 and flights to Antigua from London Gatwick on November 5.
Meanwhile, there are just four countries remaining where Brits can travel without facing any restrictions on either end.
After Italy announced it would require Brits to test for coronavirus this week, only Germany, Greece, Sweden and Gibraltar are allowing Brits in without restrictions.
