Popular TUI River Cruise sailings will resume at the end of March after winter voyages were suspended during the emergence of the Omicron variant in Europe.
The Rhine programme was first halted before Christmas when the German government imposed restrictions on UK visitors. with the tour operator forced to cancel its much-anticipated festive programme.
Holidays resume on board the newly-launched TUI Skyla on March 28 for the Magic of the Danube voyage. The seven-night cruise will begin the Hungarian capital Budapest before travelling to Slovakia, Austria and Germany before disembarking back in Hungary.

The first 14-night cruise begins on April 8 on board the TUI Isla vessel. The European Icons voyage will start in Amsterdam and call at destinations in Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary before disembarking in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

Rhine cruises begin on April 8 with the popular Rhine Germs calling at favourite German locations including Koblenz and Speyer as well as Basel in Switzerland. The seven-night trip departs and disembarks in Frankfurt with prices starting at £1,170, including discounts.
Themed cruises begin on April 1 on board the TUI Maya with Vines and valleys along the magnificent Moselle.
The voyage will feature vineyard-filled vistas, traditional taverns and crumbling castles introducing passengers to the romantic towns and landscapes of the Moselle Valley. The trip begins and disembarks in Frankfurt with prices starting at £1,110 per person.
