TUI's latest sale on Canary Island holidays includes packages from £262pp

If you've been thinking of a last-minute holiday to the Canary Islands then you may want to check out TUI's latest deal.

The travel giant is currently offering £100 off holidays to Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and La Palma, and there are seven-night packages from £262pp that can still be snapped up.

The offer is valid on holidays departing between November 1 and December 31, which is excellent timing as the Canaries are ideal for winter sun holidays what with their year-round sunshine and balmy temperatures.

To claim the discount you'll need to enter the code CANARIES at checkout.

You can see the full list of holidays included here, but it's worth noting they are subject to availability, and there is a minimum spend of £800.

To give you a helping hand, we've highlighted some of the top offers that have caught our attention including:

  • Tenerife from £262pp in December - book here.
  • Lanzarote from £274pp in December - book here.
  • Gran Canaria from £282pp in December - book here.
  • Fuertevenutra from £315pp in November - book here.

The Canaries are amongst the destinations currently open to Brits for holidays.

When travelling to the Canaries, anyone aged 12 or over will need to either show proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid, or that they have taken a PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. You can also gain entry if you are able to prove that you have recently recovered from Covid.

Meanwhile local Covid rules according to the Foreign Office include social distancing of 1.5m, "obligatory use of face masks in enclosed public spaces or outdoors where social distancing of 1.5 metres cannot be observed".

You can read more about the local rules and entry rules in the Foreign Office's latest Spain travel advice.

As for entry requirements when coming back to the UK, the rules depend on your vaccination status.

If you're fully vaccinated, you'll need to take either a PCR test or lateral flow test on day two after arrival in the UK.

If you're unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you'll need to take a pre-departure test, and self-isolate for 10 days when you arrive. During this self-isolation period you'll also need to take PCR tests on days two and eight.

Travel rules can change quickly during the pandemic. Always check the latest Foreign Office travel advice for a destination before booking or going on a trip.
