TUI resuming trips to more amber destinations - here's the full list and dates

The UK's largest tour operator TUI is planning to resume flights to more amber list destinations as it continues to review schedules in line with government restrictions.

It had already started flying again to green status destinations such as Malta, Madeira, Gibraltar and various Caribbean islands. Services have also resumed to amber category places like the Balearic Islands, Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Zakynthos , Rhodes and Kos, mainland Portugal, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife in the Canary Isands.

It now plans to add Cyprus (Larnaca and Paphos) as well as Jamaica, from July 22; Morocco (Marrakech) and the Greek island of Skiathos will resume from July 23; Fuerteventura and mainland Spain (Alicante), from July 24.; Kefalonia, Greece, and Malaga, in mainland Spain, will begin again on July 25.

Flights to Croatia (Dubrovnik) will begin on August 1, to Croatia (Split) and Bulgaria (Bourgas and Varna) on August 2, and to Croatia (Pula) on August 3.

The island of Aruba,Greek destinations Halkidiki, Preveza, Samos, Santorini, Thassos; Italy, Morocco (Agadir), mainland Spain (except Alicante and Malaga) and TUI ’s Lakes & Mountains programme all remain cancelled up to and including July 31.

Holidays which include non- TUI flights to Canada, Kenya, Seychelles and Tobago also remain cancelled up to including July 31.

Holidays to Cape Verde, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Florida, Mexico, Turkey and Tunisia have been cancelled up to and including August 15.

Trips to Cuba are suspended up to and including August 31.

The tour operator said: “We won’t take any customers to red destinations or those which require quarantine on arrival, unless this can be foregone by a Covid test.

“If we need to cancel holidays because of updated government guidance, or after reviewing our holiday programme, we will contact customers and aim to give at least seven days advance notice.

“These customers can request a full cash refund, or to change to a later date or alternative holiday with a booking incentive.”
