Holidaymakers still unsure of booking holidays due to the on-going uncertainty brought about by the pandemic are being offered "peace of mind" by one travel company with a new flexible amends policy.
Anyone booking holidays with TUI from today (July 23) until September 30, 2020, for travel between August 20 to April 30 next year, will be able to make one amendment to the booking free of charge.
This includes the hotel and destination - regardless of whether they are affected by Covid-19.
These are for any bookings during those dates through TUI Airways flights for TUI, First Choice and Marella Cruise holidays.
The booking amendment must be made at least 28 days before departure.
Richard Sofer, commercial director, TUI UK & Ireland, said: “We are in extraordinary times with circumstances that are constantly evolving, and we know we need to be adaptable. We’ve listened to our customers and understand some are feeling apprehensive about travelling at the moment, but still want to book in a holiday to have something to look forward to. I’m confident our new flexible amends policy will give customers the peace of mind they need to book a holiday knowing that they can change it if, for whatever reason, they decide they want to go somewhere different or delay their trip.
“It’s been more than four months of not taking people on holidays, so we’re excited to offer more flexibility so our customers can make the most of what’s left of the summer.”
TUI is also offering customers up to £300 off per booking on selected hotels for holidays departing in August 2020. There are 140 hotels to choose from and the offer is available from today for one week.
