TUI issues new advice to customers who have holidays booked amid coronavirus outbreak

TUI has issued new guidance for customers who have booked holidays with them, in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

The travel firm previously announced that it would be suspending package holidays including cruises and hotel operations.

TUI has now closed its retail stores and their call centre teams in the UK are currently working from home.

Customers due to travel before April 16 are being contacted by staff to discuss their options and are asked not to contact TUI themselves.

Anyone due to travel after April 17, is asked to check the website for further updates, way to amend their booked and details of their terms and conditions.

All sailings on the Marella Discovery cruise up to and including April 17 have been cancelled.

The Marella Discovery 2, Dream, Explorer or Explorer 2 cruises have been cancelled up to and including April 16.

All Marella Celebration cruises up to and including April 30 have been cancelled.

Customers due to travel on a Crystal Ski holiday proramme have had their travel cancelled.

The company is still hoping that travel from December 2020 will still go ahead as planned.

The Foreign Commonwealth Office changed advice for UK citizens against all but essential travel worldwide from March 17.
