Updates from Tui over its summer schedule have been released and there is both good and bad news for those hoping for a holiday abroad.
The operator made changes after the government's recent review of travel restrictions.
A number of destinations, including the Balearic Islands and Malta, were added to the "green list" of locations, meaning visitors won't need to quarantine on their return.

Other destinations have gone on the "green watchlist", meaning they could move to the amber list soon.
After that update, TUI issued a confirmation of some locations where it will be running holidays while also announcing cancellations, our sister title North Wales Live reports.
It confirmed that it will operate holidays to a number of "green list" destinations this summer.
These destinations, listed below, are already on the list or will join it next week:
- Antigua
- Balearics (Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca)
- Barbados
- Grenada
- Madeira
- Malta
- Iceland
- Gibraltar
- Jersey
TUI further confirmed that it continues to operate holidays to the following Amber destinations "where borders are open and FCDO advice allows travel":
- Corfu
- Crete (Heraklion)
- Cuba (Varadero)
- Fuerteventura
- Gran Canaria
- Lanzarote
- Kos
- Portugal
- Rhodes
- St Lucia
- Tenerife
- Zakynthos
There however was some bad news as the travel provider announced that it had extended the cancellation of a number of holidays due to "ongoing uncertainty."
In its latest updates, TUI said it's had to cancel all holidays to the following destinations up to and including July 21:
- Bulgaria
- Cape Verde
- Costa Rica
- Dominican Republic
- Egypt
- Italy
- Mainland Spain
- Mexico
- Morocco
- Tunisia
- Turkey
- All TUI Lakes & Mountains destinations
Holidays to a number of those locations had previously been cancelled by the travel provider only up to either July 4 or 11 - with the cancellations now extended.
It further revealed that it's cancelled all holidays which include non-TUI flights to Canada, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Tobago, UAE and USA up to and including July 21.
TUI has also cancelled sailings on the Marella Discovery 2 from November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022 inclusive.
This includes "all Asia sailings and Ancient Affair and Mediterranean Islands sailings from Cyprus."
It confirmed in a recent update that "all other sailings on Marella Discovery 2 and Marella Discovery remain cancelled up to and including July 31" this year.
TUI said customers affected by its cancellations will be contacted directly and have a number of options, including being able to request a full cash refund.
