TUI flight update and cancelled holidays as travel rules change this week - full list

TUI has updated its flights and holidays as the new travel rules change this week amid 'ongoing uncertainty' over restrictions.

The tour operator has been continually reviewing its flight programme to align with the UK's latest measures and rules on international travel.

More TUI holidays TUI have now been cancelled as as of Monday, October 4, as the traffic light system is scrapped - including the green and amber lists.

Flights to Egypt, Florida, Mexico, Tunisia and Italy Sicily and Sardinia are among those to be axed until late October.

However, TUI has laid on more flights to popular destinations as travel rules change, including the Balearics, Canaries, Croatia and Cyprus.

Other destinations include Greece, Italy, Turkey and Spain - with the likes of Alicante, Malaga and Reus now back on.

TUI said: "We are continually reviewing our holiday programme and cancellations in line with Government updates every three weeks."

TUI also confirmed fully-vaccinated customers will not be required to take a pre-departure test before their arrival into England and the day two PCR test will be replaced with a lateral flow.

However, this does not apply to anyone flying into Scotland after the Scottish Government chose not to drop testing requirements during the recent travel review.

In a statement on TUI's website, the airline confirmed it is giving jet-setters the chance to make fee-free changes to their travel plans until 14 days before their departure, if their holiday begins before October 31.
