TUI axes more holidays with trips to Malta, Spain, Italy and Egypt cancelled

The UK's largest tour operator TUI has announced a new set of holiday cancellations despite the government confirming a relaxation of Covid test regulations ahead of the half-term schools break.

From Monday (October 4) fully-vaccinated passengers and children under the age of 18 who are travelling with their vaccinated parents, will not be required to take a pre-departure test before their arrival into England and later in October the day 2 PCR test will be replaced by a lateral flow test.

Some holiday destinations - such as Portugal - have their own entry requirements which may vary and the operator recommends customers check the UK Foreign Office advice for their destination country.
