TUI airline issues important Covid vaccine update for travelling abroad

Holiday operator TUI has issued an important Covid vaccine update for customers flying abroad.

People travelling to a number of destinations across the world will need to have printed proof of their Covid-19 vaccination status that needs to be dated from November 1.

Customers who have printed PDF copies of their NHS Covid Pass before November 1 are being urged by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to print a new copy to ensure it is accepted by travel authorities.

In a statement, TUI said: "The FCDO have advised that customers travelling to a number of destinations will need to ensure that any printed proof of their vaccination status needs to be dated from 1 November.

"We would advise any customers who have printed PDF copies of their NHS Covid Pass before 1 November to print a new copy to ensure it is accepted.

"Please note that holiday destinations have their own entry requirements which may vary, and we recommend that customers check the FCDO advice for the country they are travelling to."
