Tuesday weather forecast in Leeds as bright sunshine expected to change to heavy rain

It's lined up to be a varied day in Leeds on Tuesday, with bright sunshine expected to turn to heavy rain later in the evening.

The Met Office predicts that the day will start of glorious, with bright sunshine expected from 6am until 11am when some clouds will start to settle in.

Fortunately that will little effect on the temperature, which is set to peak at 23° between 4pm and 5pm.

Later on though the weather will take a turn for the worse, with rain expected to hit at 9pm and then predicted to come down hard an hour later. It should then calm down but rain will continue in to Wednesday morning.

Temperatures will be at their lowest in the early hours of the morning when they're expected to be 12°.

The sun will rise at 5.02am and set at 9.04pm.
