Tuesday weather forecast for Leeds as temperatures soar and the sun comes out

It's set to get much hotter in Leeds than we've been used to recently today.

The sun is coming out at the temperatures are soaring for March as the Met Office predicts it'll be a lovely day in Leeds.

It's starting off cool at just six degrees around 6am before the sun rises.

But the sun will rise at 6.05am to a clear sky that will remain until around 8am.

There's set to be a brief cloudy spell near 9am, but the sun will come out to compete with the clouds from 10am.

Temperatures will be climbing throughout the morning and will hit a high of 16 degrees at about 3pm.

Additionally, at 4pm, the clouds are forecast to disappear and leave the sun to shine in clear skies for a couple of hours. They'll return briefly around 6pm.

The sun will set at 6.23pm.

It'll start to cool off again after the sun sets but not as much - decreasing to just nine degrees at midnight.

Winds are remaining low throughout the day at a high of 14mph around 3pm.
