Tuesday's weather forecast for Leeds as rain expected

If you’re heading out on Tuesday, you may wish to pack a brolly, as the weather looks set to be a mixed bag for many areas of Yorkshire.

The latest weather forecast from The Met Office has revealed that Tuesday will be a lot cloudier on the whole, with a few well scattered showers reaching across the entirety of the county.

The overall temperatures are also expected to be cooler, with a maximum of just 12 °C expected.

Although the day is expected to be cooler under the clouds, that doesn’t mean we’re completely left without sunshine, with some brighter spells also eventually expected to make an appearance as they day progresses. Winds for the day are also expected to remain light.

In Leeds specifically, the day will start with a much needed dose of sunshine when the sun first rises at 5:42am. This is expected to continue until 9am, when the cloud will move in and provide cover until around 1pm, when it’s expected to rain.

This downpour should be short-lived however, with the afternoon drying up from 2pm onwards, until the sun finally sets at 8:27pm.

Temperatures for the city will be between 12 °C and 5 °C.
