Tuesday’s injury report for Chargers ahead of matchup vs. Raiders

The Chargers had their first practice ahead of Thursday’s matchup with the Raiders on Tuesday.

Here’s a look at today’s injury report:

Nothing changed from Monday’s estimated report. Six players did not practice, most notably linebacker Denzel Perryman.

Perryman and offensive tackle Sam Tevi, who are both dealing with knee injuries sustained in last Sunday’s game, got checked out by the medical staff yesterday but there wasn’t any clear update.

Safety Roderic Teamer appears to still be dealing with a groin injury. If he can’t go, the standout in Sunday’s game, Jaylen Watkins will get the start at strong safety.

Defensive tackles Brandon Mebane and Justin Jones were both limited. Coach Anthony Lynn said that he will know more tomorrow about their statuses. Mebane and Jones have missed the last three games.

The Chargers will have a walk-through before flying out to Oakland on Wednesday.
