Joe Biden was said to have been 'evacuated' from a COP26 event this afternoon in Glasgow due to the size of the crowd outside the venue.
The American president was due to speak at an event on methane gases, but it was delayed after Biden was "hustled off by secret service".
Biden later returned to the stage to deliver his speech.
Leonardo DiCaprio shows up at Glasgow COP26 fringe event in Maryhill
Superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted at a COP26 fringe event in Glasgow last night.
The American climate activist was snapped on Instagram with the owner of The Engine Works in Maryhill.
DiCaprio had not publicised his attendance at COP26 beforehand. The actor was mobbed today at the SEC.
Scotland's 20 best fish and chip shops named in top UK guide
