Tributes have been paid to a Scots mum with a 'beautiful soul' after her death.

Heartbroken relatives and loves ones took to social media on Sunday November 14 to share the sad news that Jade Graham had tragically passed away.

How the 26-year-old mum-of-one from Wishaw lost her life has not been confirmed, but the Record understands there are no suspicious circumstances.

A charity boss who pleaded guilty to paying for sex with a child has been given permission to keep his role.

Unsuccessful UKIP candidate Ken Lowry is a director and trustee of the national CERT UK charity and also has his own company

The former soldier was also nominated for a special recognition award from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham last December for his work in supporting those living on the streets during the Covid pandemic.

Man remanded in custody ahead of trial over 'murder' of Scots woman

A man who stands accused of murdering his partner on Bonfire Night in Dundee has been held in custody ahead of his trial.

Kenneth Melville appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday to be fully committed to trial after being accused of killing Yvonne Barr on November 5.

Scotland hit by third earthquake just hours after tremors wake residents

It was the second earthquake to hit Roybridge (Google Maps)

A third earthquake hit Scotland today in a series of rumbles which took place just hours apart.

The 0.9 magnitude tremor was recorded at Roybridge in the Highlands at 4.09am this morning around an hour and a half after a 1.6 shake hit at the same village.

Both occurred at a depth of 7km, according to the British Geological Survey.
