Tucker Carlson Just Dropped a 10-Point Manifesto for America After Ditching the GOP Over Iran: 'What We Have Literally Doesn't Work...'

Milwaukee,,Wisconsin,-,July,18,,2024:,Tucker,Carlson,At,The

Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson called for the United States to "stop mass migration," avoid unnecessary wars, rebuild domestic production, improve food and health, punish dishonest officials and restore national unity in a 10-point manifesto fueling speculation about a new political party.

Carlson Lays Out Broader Political Blueprint

Carlson presented the goals Wednesday during a livestream, weeks after he quit supporting the Republican Party over President Donald Trump’s Iran policy. "We thought it’d be useful just to set down the goals of whatever comes next," Carlson said. "What we have literally doesn’t work."

He listed "fair" first, arguing laws should apply equally, followed by "sovereign," which he defined as freedom from outside influence. Carlson again attacked the Iran war, alleging Israel pushed Washington into the conflict. Trump has denied that claim.

Carlson has repeatedly criticized the Iran war and political elites. He said America should also become "productive," prioritizing farming and other domestic industries over weapons and surveillance.

His remaining goals included being "beautiful," "healthy," "honest," "optimistic," "wise" and "decent." He praised Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s focus on food and argued officials who lie should face consequences.

Immigration And War Anchor Carlson’s Vision

On war, Carlson criticized Trump’s use of "Department of War" as a secondary title for the Pentagon. Trump authorized that designation by executive order in September 2025, though formally changing the department’s statutory name requires congressional action.

Carlson called "united" "maybe the most important thing that this country needs to be" and said "the very first" step was to "stop mass migration into the United States."

Third-Party Speculation Grows Around Manifesto

The manifesto follows Carlson’s statement last month that he was "going to help build a third party." His comments come amid broader right-wing dissatisfaction with the two-party system. Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) has separately promoted a cross-partisan "America First" coalition.

Public appetite exists, but the electoral terrain remains difficult. Pew Research Center found in January that 37% of Americans wished they had more parties to choose from. Elon Musk similarly announced an "America Party" in 2025 before later shelving the effort.

Carlson has not formally announced a party, candidates or an electoral organization. His manifesto, however, supplies the clearest outline yet of what such a movement could champion.
