Tucker Carlson has defended Joe Rogan telling young people to not “worry” about getting vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Spotify podcaster faced a barrage of criticism for saying on The Joe Rogan Experience that he would not encourage a 21-year-old to get the vaccine.
Carlson doubled down the day after he told viewers of his own Fox News show to call the police or make a report to child protective services if they saw a child wearing a mask outdoors.
And he attacked the push to make all Americans get the vaccine on his Tuesday show.
“If you’ve gotten the vaccine, why is other peoples’ refusal to get the vaccine a problem for you?” Carlson asked.

“If the vaccine is so effective why are the people who choose to get mad at the people who choose not to get it? Huh?
“Do people who’ve slimmed down from gastric bypass yell at fat people on the street? You wouldn’t think so. It’s not really their business.”
Rogan sparked controversy on his Monday podcast, after admitting that the vaccine was “for the most part safe to get.”
“But if you’re like 21 years old, and you say to me, should I get vaccinated? I’ll go no. Are you healthy? Are you a healthy person?” he added.
“If you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”
Carlson defended Rogan’s comments enthusiastically.
“So if you’re at risk, get the vaccine, protect yourself, be happy with it, be grateful we have the vaccine. And if you’re not at risk, maybe you don’t. Is that a crazy point?”
Carlson told Fox News host Brit Hume, who was a guest on his show, that he had “had a million vaccines over my lifetime and I think vaccines are great.”
Hume said that he had been fully vaccinated but Carlson did not say if he had also been vaccinated against Covid-19
