Glasgow slushie favourite Tubbees expanding by opening two new branches in city centre

Slushie fans, listen up - this should cool you down.

Last week we reported how fans of Glasgow slushie favourite Tubbees were salivating at the launch of their new vodka energy drink promising "a party in a bottle" and tasting of "the Tubbees flavour we all know and love".

The dessert bar and ice cream parlour, which has locations on Paisley Road West and Dumbarton Road, has become an uber-popular pit stop for Glaswegians keen on tickling their tastebuds with viral-hit slushees and nitro ice cream creations.

And now after branching out with a new vodka, the team are literally branching out again - announcing two new Tubbees branches coming soon to the city centre.

The two new dessert parlours are located on Sauchiehall Street and on St James Road - just a stone's throw from Strathclyde University and the City of Glasgow college on nearby Cathedral Street.

Tubbees took to Twitter to share the news of both stores, tweeting: "Listen up!!! We have a new store coming to Glasgow city centre. You''ll be able to cure all your sweet and slushie cravings. Stay tuned for opening announcements."

They followed that up with "SURPRISE!! Yesterday's good news gets even better, we've got ANOTHER store coming soon to Glasgow City Centre. 436 Sauchiehall Street, watch this space."

We don't have a crystal ball but we imagine both of these branches will prove hugely popular when they open for business!
