Tua Tagovailoa’s injury outlook keeps getting better before 2020 draft

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is 100 percent ahead of the 2020 NFL draft.

Call it news the Cincinnati Bengals should still take into account before the big day.

Word broke this week from Tagovailoa himself that he’s fully ready to go and he’s openly participated in getting his medical re-checks out there for teams.

“I feel 100 percent,” Tagovailoa said, according to Steve Wyche of NFL Network. “I feel like if there was a game today, I’d be able to go out and perform the same way I was able to perform in previous years. I feel as mobile as possible. I feel 100 percent.”

This probably doesn’t move the needle on what the Bengals intend to do at No. 1, of course. But it’s worth pointing out because he was one of four prospects the team was reportedly considering at one point and people within the organization have described Tagovailoa as top-five worthy.
