Tua Tagovailoa had a very special moment in Miami’s empty stadium after his NFL debut

Tua Tagovailoa made his NFL debut late in Sunday’s win over the awful New York Jets and then following the game he made his way back out on the field in Miami to take it all in, which was a special moment for the QB who suffered a serious hip injury last year at Alabama, an injury that could have led to Sunday never happening.

Tagovailoa completed both passes that he threw on Sunday for a total of nine yards, but just being out on the field was all that mattered for the No. 5 pick in last April’s NFL draft.

Tagovailoa went out to the 15 yard line, which was special to him because he dislocated his hip on the 15 yard line at Mississippi State last November, and sat there for a while by himself, most likely thinking about all that went into his first NFL game.
