Creative people, no matter how “crafty”, understand the importance of technology to their business, their product and their vision. Whether they are enthusiasts or entrepreneurs, tailors or embroiderers, artists or designers: individuals at the cutting edge of the creative industries harness the latest digital applications to give them greater artistic freedom and to maximise their output.

Sprout by HP is the very latest example of technology that allows users to create whatever they can imagine. With this clever, creative space, you can easily capture, seamlessly manipulate and share whatever inspires you, as well as running your home or office effectively with a powerful PC.

Alongside the immersive, multi-touch technology and Sprout Workspace, the app for capturing, creating, and sharing ideas, it has a powerful Intel i7 Processor and 1TB of storage, so it can also be used it for everyday business and personal PC requirements.

To celebrate the launch of Sprout by HP, and to show what it is capable of, Patrick Grant, creative director of Norton & Sons of Savile Row and its ready-to-wear label, E Tautz, has created a very special piece of artwork using the machine. Reimagining the iconic British caravan, Grant used the Sprout to scan old war medals and hand-painted portraits of Victorian military heroes, using the collage to create a “polka dot” print on the caravan. Partly retelling the story E Tautz’s original customers and their military past, Grant took inspiration from the brand’s archive, fusing analogue sources with digital technology to create something completely original.

This spring, Grant will be sharing his artwork at an exclusive creative workshop in central London – and you could win one of 15 places to attend.

At the workshop, Grant will talk about his career, his inspirations and the way he has used Sprout by HP to create a unique piece of art. Held from 11am to 3pm on 25 April 2015, refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Attendees will be invited to try the Sprout for themselves, with an HP expert on hand to answer any questions.

The event will be a fantastic opportunity for creative, entrepreneurial people – with a passion for technology – to be inspired and trial a new and immersive way of working. To be in with a chance of winning a place at this one-off workshop, fill in the form below.

The competition closes on 19 April and winners will receive their exclusive invite on 20 April. Good luck.
