"Try doing my job" - the person behind the LNER trains Twitter account is clearly having a bad day

It's not been the best of days for LNER and its customers alike - as people travel for their Easter holidays services between London and Edinburgh have been incredibly overcrowded with passengers finding themselves on the floors of carriages for over four hours .

With tweets flooding in from furious passengers it's safe to say we wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of today's social media outrage.

However, the replies coming from LNER's Twitter account (some now deleted) - have left Twitter users divided on whether the responses are witty or unprofessional.

"Sorry for your discomfort":

"If we had them we'd be running them":

"Even if there's temptation":

Today probably wasn't the best day to insinuate that passengers travelling over the Easter break are idiots and it didn't go unnoticed by Twitter. The tweet has since been deleted.

"In an ideal world...":

"You know nothing about me or my job":

We're team KM on this one.
