Brad Pitt was forced to backtrack in spectacular fashion after he accidentally implied his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was boring.
The Hollywood actor, 55, seemed to say their relationship was "dull" in an interview with Parade magazine back in 2011.
It got worse when he seemed to suggest that his life was much mnore exciting after meeting his next partner, Angelina Jolie , the woman he left Jen for.
Brad said: "I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.
"'I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.
"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself.
"I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."

His comments sparkled a major backlash as fans were convinced he was calling his ex-wife boring.
Brad was forced to retract his words and explain what he really meant, insisting it was him who was dull - not Jen.
He even released a statement to make sure everyone understood.
It read: "It grieves me that this was interpreted this way.
"Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend.
"It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself, and that, I am responsible for."

The couple dated throughout the 1990s and married in 2000.
However, the marriage broke down just five years later and Brad struck up a new romance with Angelina, who he met on the set of his film Mr and Mrs Smith.
They became parents to six kids and married in 2014, but Brad went through another high-profile split when his second marriage crumbled in 2016.
