Trump warns US is ‘locked and loaded’ after Iran peace talks collapse

United States Iran Donald Trump

Donald Trump announced the US would "immediately" blockade the Strait of Hormuz following the failure of peace talks with Iran in Pakistan.
The US president stated the US army would block ships and "interdict" any vessel paying a toll to Iran, accusing Tehran of "world extortion".
Trump also warned that the US military is "LOCKED AND LOADED" and prepared to "finish up the little that is left of Iran!".
The negotiations, which took place in Pakistan, lasted 21 hours but concluded without an agreement between the US and Iran.
US vice president JD Vance expressed disappointment, while Iran acknowledged some progress but cited "two important issues" for the ultimate failure.
