- It comes after Italy reportedly refused permission for US military aircraft to land at a Sicilian air base en route to the Middle East, according to a source close to the matter.
- And Spain closed its airspace to American aircraft involved in military operations against Iran.
- Trump has told allies that the US “won’t be there to help you anymore” in another scathing attack, suggesting he may abandon the war in Iran without reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
