President Donald Trump said Thursday he plans to attend Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night if the Houston Astros can extend the Major League Baseball finale against the Washington Nationals.

But the former United States Football League team owner and noted sports fan expressed doubts about throwing out the first pitch at Nationals Park.

“I don’t know, they got to dress me up in a lot of heavy armor — I’ll look too heavy,” he said, referring to the U.S. Secret Service. “I don’t like that.”

Washington leads the best-of-seven series 2-0.

A presidential visit would only further make fans’ experience getting inside the ballpark more difficult.

Major professional U.S. sports championship games and series are considered national security events, with more security procedures and personnel deployed at stadiums and arenas.

His comments came during a ceremony Thursday to award championship professional motor racing owner Roger Penske the Medal of Freedom.
