Trump tells tech bosses that AI is ‘taking over the world’

US president Donald Trump met with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at his Chequers residence during his state visit to the UK.
The leaders signed the £150 billion 'Tech Prosperity Deal', which aims to foster co-operation between the two nations in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and nuclear power.
Addressing tech leaders at the event, Mr Trump joked that artificial intelligence is “taking over the world”.
He engaged with Nvidia's Jensen Huang, laughing as he expressed hope for the future of AI development.
