- Mark Cuban, an investor and entrepreneur, joined US President Donald Trump at a healthcare event Monday to promote TrumpRx, a discount prescription drug website.
- The collaboration came as a surprise to some because of Cuban's history of criticizing Trump. A reporter at the event asked about Cuban’s presence, given that he supported former Vice President Kamala Harris over Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
- “Well, he made a mistake,” Trump replied as Cuban laughed. “It was a big mistake.”
- Cuban said in September 2024 that Harris “wants to help the economy. She wants to help the middle class.” He went on to bash Trump, adding, “He talks a good game, but it doesn’t mean he follows through or gets the job done.”
- Cuban’s Cost Plus Drug Company provides lower-priced mail-order medications and he touted his company's "special partnership" with TrumpRx at Monday’s event, noting 559 drugs on the site are from his company.
