New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Monday that U.S. President Donald Trump should invoke the Defense Production Act to expand the capacity of labs to process tests for the novel coronavirus, citing processing delays and supply shortages.
"The federal government has to step up now because it is becoming a national crisis," de Blasio told a media briefing.
