Results are coming in from the US election and, with more than half the states called, Donald Trump looks to be in the lead in the race for the White House.
With Ohio called for Trump and Virginia called for Ms Clinton, as things stand there are eight big swing states to watch over the next couple of hours.
If Trump goes on to take Florida, North Carolina and Arizona - and he has a lead in all of them - he will be just 17 electoral votes short of the goal of 270.

It seems at that stage to all come down to Wisconsin (10 votes) and Michigan (16 votes). Neither would take him over the line on its own, but if he takes one of them and one of either Iowa, New Hampshire or Nevada that should see him named President.
Florida
With 95 per cent of the votes processed, Trump has a lead of 49.2% to Clinton’s 47.7%. The state carries 29 electoral college votes - the biggest of the swing states - and looks set to go to Trump. If it doesn’t, he has surely lost.
Michigan
Taking Michigan - which was forecast to be a decent win for Clinton - would open up several paths to 270 for Trump. With around a third of the vote processed, it was on Trump 49.1% to Clinton 45.9% - though the gap looks like closing as larger urban constituencies are processed.
Wisconsin
A traditional blue state that was barely even considered a battleground, but at the moment it is going very badly for the Democrats. CNN’s latest count has Trump on 49.1% to Clinton’s 45.7%, with more than half the vote counted.
North Carolina
After 90% of the vote had been processed, Trump was winning by 50.8% to Clinton’s 46.5%. Looks to be going Republican.
Arizona
Perhaps closer than expected, but reforming to Republican type. With 56% counted, Trump leads with 49.1% to Clinton’s 46.1%.
If Trump converts his leads to victory in all of the above, then it won’t even matter what happens in Iowa, Nevada or New Hampshire - Trump will be the 45th president.
