When Israel was created in 1948, 750,000 Palestinians were forced to flee their homes for Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
Many have been living in refugee camps in neighbouring countries since they left home.
Under US President Donald Trump's newly released Middle East plan, displaced Palestinians are denied the right of return to communities from which they were pushed out.
