Dominion Voting Systems has issued a firm rebuttal of ex-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell's baseless claims that the firm interfered in the election to the incumbent's disadvantage.
The election technology company slammed Ms Powell's "bizarre election fraud conspiracy" in a statement on Thursday.
Ms Powell, who the White House cut ties with earlier this week, falsely claimed Dominion switched millions of votes to president-elect Joe Biden.
She also baselessly claimed the company has ties to the Clinton Foundation and George Soros, the financier and philanthropist of Jewish descent.
Communists from Venezuela, Cuba and China are all part of the conspiracy to eject Mr Trump from the White House, she alleged.
Dominion countered those claims in its statement after Ms Powell produced what the firm said "appears to be a very rough draft of a lawsuit" against officials in Georgia, where Mr Biden's win was upheld following a recount.
In order for the conspiracy to be possible, Dominio said, it would require the "collaboration of thousands of participants, including state officeholders".
"Bipartisan local elections officials, thousands of volunteer election day poll watchers" - and a host of other election technology companies would have to have been involved, the firm added.
"This quite simply did not occur".
Ms Powell on Wednesday launched legal proceedings in Michigan and Georgia against "massive voter fraud" but did not name Dominion as the defendant in either.
The defendants are locally elected officials, although there are mentions of Dominion throughout the court papers.
The Michigan case has been filed, Business Insider reported, but the status of the Georgia complaint could not be verified, the outlet added.
