Trump’s decision to remove scotch whisky tariffs hailed

King Charles expressed gratitude to Donald Trump following Trump's announcement to remove tariffs on Scottish whisky.
Trump attributed his decision to the intervention of the King and Queen Camilla during their state visit to America.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the King's appreciation, stating the decision would significantly benefit the British whisky industry and its livelihoods.
The Scottish Distillers Association welcomed the news, noting that previous tariffs had cost the sector over £600 million.
The move is seen as a diplomatic success, strengthening the UK-US relationship and supporting a vital British export industry.
