Trump praises street named in his honor in Florida

  • The Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to rename the portion of road, which connects Palm Beach International Airport to Donald J. Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.
  • The renaming follows a state law passed earlier this year that directed the state's Transportation Department to erect a sign honouring Trump.
  • Donald J. Trump praised the move on Truth Social, expressing his gratitude for the honor.
  • The renaming is ceremonial, meaning the original street name will continue to be used for addresses and by emergency services.
