1. Trump aide won’t be charged

Florida prosecutors decided not to charge Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with battery after he manhandled a reporter. Lewandowski said he was “gratified”. The reporter is pursuing a defamation case, however.

But the loyal Lewandowksi has other troubles: his boss may be sidelining him. Trump hired Scott Walker’s former campaign manager on Wednesday as part of an emergency campaign overhaul.

‘I think we’ve got a surprise for the establishment’

‘There is nothing we cannot accomplish.’

Many voters interviewed by journalists at Sanders rallies, however, have said they are unable to vote in the primary because of New York’s restrictive registration rules.

3. Democrats to debate

The setting this time is the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and it’s Sanders’ best chance to set up an Empire State upset. New York votes next Tuesday with 247 Democratic delegates at stake.

Summary

There’s more good polling news for Trump in the north-eastern states that vote after New York. He’s up on Cruz 44-28 in Pennsylvania, a Monmouth poll found.
