Donald Trump has reacted with fury after the Supreme Court swiftly rejected a Texas lawsuit seeking to throw out voting results in four states.
The court’s decision on Friday deals Mr Trump a likely fatal blow in his long shot attempts to undermine the election and have it overturned in his favour.
The president and his allies continue to baselessly accuse states he lost narrowly in of committing mass election fraud, despite failing to provide evidence.
On Saturday morning, an angry Mr Trump lashed out at Bill Barr, promoting a tweet calling for the attorney general’s firing over reports he did not make public before the election investigations involving Joe Biden’s son Hunter.
Mr Trump then attacked the Supreme Court for unanimously throwing out the Texas attorney general’s lawsuit to try and throw out Joe Biden’s election win in four battleground lawsuits.
As he headed out of town to the army-navy football game the president’s Marine One helicopter flew over thousands of his supporters as they marched for him in Washington DC.
Mr Trump was cheered by the small crowd of Cadets and Midshipmen as he appeared on the field for the coin toss without a mask.
But he was later seen in the stands wearing a face covering before he left the game.
