Donald Trump has vowed to continue his fight to overturn a election result that delivered a clear victory for Joe Biden, while accusing CBS News of running a “ridiculous, one-sided” interview with a former US official.

Mr Trump attacked the news network’s handling of comments by former elections security chief Christopher Krebs. Earlier on Sunday, the president spoke to Fox News over the phone and vowed to put “125 per cent” of his energy into finding a path to winning another four years. "My mind will not change in six months," he said.

Meanwhile, new favourability numbers from Gallup gave Mr Biden a healthy lead over the president in the three weeks since the election.
