Trump mulls shutting down US-Mexico border over migrant crisis

More than 100,000 migrants and asylum seekers crossed the US southwestern border in March - a volume not seen in over a decade.

The US government said that is has run out of space in its processing centres and is struggling to house the asylum seekers.

US President Donald Trump has called the asylum seekers "a big fat con job" and has threatened to close the southern border if the flow of migrants does not ease.

Al Jazeera's Heidi Zhou-Castro reports from El Paso, Texas.
