Donald Trump made a surprising comment about the BBC despite his ongoing $10bn (£7.5bn) lawsuit against the broadcaster.
As he spoke to the press on Air Force One on Sunday (2 August), the US president asked one reporter which outlet they worked for.
The ABC reporter stated their workplace, but Mr Trump appeared to mishear them as stating the BBC.
When the journalist corrected them, the US president replied: “Oh, ABC. That's worse. I like BBC better than ABC actually.”
Mr Trump has accused the BBC of “intentionally, maliciously and deceptively doctoring” a speech he gave ahead of the US Capitol riots for a 2024 Panorama episode.
