Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un are preparing to meet for another set of talks in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The two leaders had a one-on-one meeting on Wednesday, followed by dinner, with President Trump hailing ”a very special relationship” with Mr Kim and North Korea.
They are set to sign a “joint agreement” on Thursday, although the White House has not yet revealed what the signing ceremony will involve.

As a new day begins in Vietnam, the world's attention is not on this historic meeting. At almost any other time Trump's summit with Kim Jong-un would have been an international spectacle, a grand show of diplomacy between the US and North Korea. But the trip has been upstaged.
Michael Cohen gave an explosive testimony to the US House Oversight Committee. Trump's former lawyer called the president a "conman", and "a racist", as well as discussing a criminal conspiracy involving the president, Donald Trump Jr, and the chief financial officer of the Trump Organisation, Allen Weisselberg.

The next major thing to watch at this historical summit is the one-on-one bilateral meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. It is scheduled to take place at 9am local time (that's 2am GMT, or 9pm EST).

- 2:05 p.m. (2:05 a.m. in New York): Trump and Kim participate in joint agreement signing ceremony
- 3:50 p.m. (3:50 a.m. in New York): Trump holds press conference

In his meeting with Kim Jong Un, President Donald Trump said North Korea had "tremendous economic potential."
Senator Lindsay Graham also said it is "poor form" to conduct Michael Cohen's congressional hearing while Donald Trump is in the middle of peace talks with Kim Jong Un.

North Korean chefs prepared Donald Trump's dinner with Kim Jong Un. Their main entree was grilled steak with a pear kimchi paired with a non-alcoholic dried persimmon punch digestif.
The Associated Press released a statement condemning the White House for banning journalists from the Donald Trump's dinner with Kim Jong Un.
AP spokeswoman Lauren Easton said the news organisation “decries such efforts by the White House to restrict access to the president. It is critically important that any president uphold American press freedom standards, not only at home but especially while abroad.”
In his congressional testimony, Michael Cohen called out the irony of Mr Trump being in Vietnam.
“I find it ironic, Mr. President, that you’re in Vietnam right now,” Cohen said in his testimony, in reference to Mr Trump avoiding serving in the Vietnam War.
