Trump jokes he only cares about press flight safety because he’s flying with them

  • Donald Trump, while flying back to Washington on Air Force One after a three-day state visit to the UK, told reporters he hoped they had a safe flight because he was also on board.
  • During his visit, the president attended a state banquet and laid a wreath at Queen Elizabeth II’s grave at Windsor Castle.
  • On Thursday, he met with Sir Keir Starmer at Chequers, where they signed a £150 billion 'Tech Prosperity Deal'.
  • The president and his entourage departed from Stansted Airport just before 6:00 pm local time on Thursday.
