A major national poll conducted after the world heard Donald Trump say “grab them by the pussy” had Hillary Clinton ahead 11 points in a four-way race – up from +6 last month. Polling averages have Clinton up five points.

The shocking poll numbers did not take into account Sunday night’s debate, which a CNN/ORC poll found Clinton won 54-37. But for Republicans, Trump’s dive presented other problems.

6. Pence denies resignation rumors

It’s absolutely false to suggest that at any point in time we considered dropping off this ticket. It’s the greatest honor of my life, to have been nominated by my party to be the next vice-president of the United States of America.

7. Warren Buffett slams Trump

Real-life billionaire philanthropist Warren Buffett rejected Trump’s calling him a tax dodger at the debate. “I have no problem in releasing my tax information while under audit,” Buffett said. “Neither would Mr Trump – at least he would have no legal problem.”
