Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump has spoken up following his acquittal, saying the country needs to move forward "together" just as her father tweeted a trolling video to mark his success.
"This factional fever and incoherent, ill-conceived process has finally ended and the President has rightfully been acquitted," Ms Trump, who is also a White House adviser, wrote on Twitter. "It is time for our Country to move forward. Together."
Ms Trump then promised that her father would continue forward, and that he "has accomplished so much and is just getting started".
The message of loyalty from a daughter to her father and boss came just after the Republican-controlled Senate voted to acquit Mr Trump on both articles of impeachment that he faced.
Just one senator from either side broke ranks, with Utah Republican Mitt Romney becoming the only senator in American history to vote to remove a president of his own party.
Mr Trump reacted to his acquittal by posting a video showing campaign signs for future campaigns extending more than 100 years into the future.
The video has been used previously to troll the president's opponents, who note that the president is term limited to just two four-year stints in office. Mr Trump's age also presents a bit of an issue for future elections, since the 73-year-old would have to shock the world with record breaking longevity if he is to personally compete in an election in year 2100, as the video suggests.
Others in Mr Trump's orbit have claimed an outright victory in the matter, with Rudy Giuliani tweeting or retweeting several times after the acquittal vote.
"Acquitted for life!" one of those tweets read.
Mr Trump is expected to deliver a public statement at noon on Thursday to discuss "our Country's VICTORY on the Impeachment Hoax!" the president wrote on Twitter.
