Donald Trump appeared to doze off during a NBA finals game at Madison Square Garden on Monday (8 June).
Footage shared on social media appears to show the US president nodding off as he sat in a private box to watch the New York Knicks vs the San Antonio Spurs game.
Many were quick to criticise Trump, who has faced numerous accusations of falling asleep during public appearances. AOC responded to the clip by stating: “WAKE TF UP.”
Another called the nap “the most expensive in taxpayer” history.
The night, which also saw Trump being booed by fans, ended in disappointment for the Knicks, who lost 115-111 against the Spurs.
