Trump casts doubt on allowing Ukraine Patriot missile production

  • US president Donald Trump said he was "not sure" he would allow Ukraine to build Patriot surface-to-air interceptor missiles, the Financial Times has reported, despite previously offering to share the license of the coveted air defence systems.
  • President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia launched a ‘North Korean ballistic missile’ at a Ukrainian village killing six members of a single family.
  • Ukrainian drones attacked two Wildberries warehouses, while a drone attack sparked a fire at an energy facility and warehouses in Russia 's Volgograd region, injuring five according to regional governor, Andrei Bocharov.
  • Russia extended its ban on diesel and gasoline exports until January 2027. The measure was initally introduced as ‌part of measures to support ⁠the domestic fuel market after Ukrainian drone attacks on oil refineries.
  • Russia's financial monitoring agency, Rosfinmonitoring, added Telegram founder Pavel Durov to its list of extremists and terrorists, according to a designation on the agency's website.
